Terms of service

Effective September 12, 2026.

These terms apply to the YardStock website, public demo, and hosted inventory application operated by Up In Pieces LLC, doing business as YardStock.net (“YardStock,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a company, you must be authorized to do so.

Your account and workspace

YardStock provides inventory tools for businesses, including products, yard locations, crew access, QR scanning, inventory movements, activity history, and available CSV tools. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, the users you authorize, and the information entered through your company’s workspace. Keep account credentials and crew PINs private and contact us if access is lost or misused.

Creating an account and completing company setup do not charge your card. Subscription access begins after checkout is confirmed and the required company setup is complete, unless we separately grant your company access.

Subscription price and recurring billing

The V1 YardStock subscription is $29 USD per month, with no one-time setup fee. Stripe displays the amount and billing details before you confirm checkout. By completing subscription checkout, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your selected payment method until you cancel. The billing portal shows your subscription and current billing period.

Stripe processes payments and provides the customer billing portal. From your YardStock account, choose Manage billing to update payment details, view invoices, or cancel. If a payment fails or the subscription is no longer active, inventory workspace access may be unavailable while you resolve the billing issue.

Cancellation and billing questions

You can cancel the subscription through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period; your current paid access continues until that period ends, unless access is separately suspended for misuse or another account issue. The subscription will not renew after the scheduled cancellation takes effect.

Cancellation does not automatically refund charges already paid or delete your account data. For a billing error, refund request, help canceling, or a data request, use the YardStock contact form. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law gives you.

Your information

You retain ownership of the inventory and other information you submit. You authorize us and our service providers to store and process it to deliver and support YardStock. Only submit information that you have authority to use. Our Privacy Policy explains how account, inventory, billing, and website information is handled.

Use the available exports to keep copies of records you need. When a device is offline, changes may remain on that device until synchronization succeeds. Check the sync status before signing out, switching devices, or clearing browser data. Contact us for help accessing or exporting records after your subscription ends.

Appropriate use

Use YardStock lawfully. Do not access another company’s information without permission, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, or attempt to bypass account or payment controls. We may suspend access to address misuse, unpaid subscriptions, or compromised accounts.

The public demo and chatbot

The public demo uses sample information for evaluation and is separate from your company’s workspace. Do not enter confidential or real operational records in the demo or rely on its sample quantities for business decisions.

The public website chatbot answers product questions and can make mistakes. It does not manage your inventory account, change a subscription, or replace confirmation from the account dashboard or our support team. The chatbot is not included in the demo or signed-in inventory application.

Availability and responsibility

YardStock is an inventory aid. Your business remains responsible for physical stock checks and purchasing, accounting, and operational decisions. The service may have errors, interruptions, or delays, including when a device is offline. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every inventory entry will reflect the physical stock in your yard.

We retain ownership of the YardStock software, branding, designs, and website content. Your subscription permits use of the hosted service; it does not transfer ownership of that software or branding.

Changes and contact
